We want to hear your views about your LA

One of the main concerns that home educators often have is, “What is my LA actually like?”

On the Local Authorities pages for Somerset, Devon and Dorset, there is a summary about each LA based on past comments from home educators over the years.

This is now being extended with actual real-life accounts (anonymous of course) from home educators like yourselves: Somerset views, Devon views and Dorset views.
It is really helpful to new home educators when families are willing to share their experiences with others.  It helps to paint a more accurate picture of what actually happens.

The more home educators that speak out about their views and LA experience, the better understanding there will be about what works and what doesn’t and the kind of support we want/need but do or don’t receive.
As well as being helpful to home educators, it is very important in the current political climate.

It would be much appreciated by many if you could write something about your personal experience, however short or long, whether you are registered or not.
